COCA-COLA RETURNS!
On Friday, June 9th, the Cain Park Summer Theatre will open its 1978 season with a revival of Fran Soeder's uproariously funny "EL GRANDE DE, COLA COLA." More than 20,000 people laughed their way through "COCA-COLA'S" original 101 performance run when produced by the Playhouse Square Association at the State Theatre in 1975. The park will offer a five week run with performances on June 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, and July 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, at 8:30 p.m.
The revival will feature original cast members Ralph Gunderman, Mark Passerell, and Patty Johnson, Gunderman once

MCC Akron just had a most successful dance at Satan's on Arlington Street last month, and a fine night at the Stagecoach for our bar ministry. The June night of bar ministry is Friday, June 16th at the American Disco. We might as well leak the information now as ever that the Rev. Elder Troy Perry and the
again will become the forever grinning master of ceremonies, Pepe Hernandez. Mark Passerell will recreate his portrayal of Toulouse-Lautrec which requires the use of specially designed surgical knee pads and a nightly dose of five Bufferin tablets. New cast members are Beth Zombory and John Roccosalva.
The action of "EL GRANDE DE COCA-COLA" takes place in a nightclub in a run down section of Trujillo, Honduras. Pepe Hernandez, a third rate impresario, has boasted to the local press that he is bringing in a group of internationally famous cabaret stars under the

However, the company of stars turn out to be Pepe's disastrously inept four member family who proceed to stumble their way through a series of hilariously horrible nightclub acts. The singers can't sing, the dancers can't dance, the magician cheats, the ventriloquist's dummy is real, the acrobats fumble one another, and the entire evening is a nonstop riotously funny catastrophe.
The show is presented by the Cleveland Heights Parks and Recreation department through special arrangement with the Cleveland Coca-Cola Bottling Company and the Playhouse Square Association.
